Good evening bouldering venue for a dedicated local. Also home to some pleasant trad routes.
Traveling from Edenfield along the A680, take a small right-hand turn in a dip and park wherever you can, without blocking gates. Follow the stream to a ruined mill - the two buttresses are either side of the valley.
25/02/18. West side was easily accessible.
East side was flooded, however, a lovely gent was there digging a drainage route away from the rock. Given a few days, that should be dry.
Pick up a fair bit of plastic rubbish throughout the day, however both sides are very clean. AdamP187 - 26/Feb/18 |

Right of the bouldering area there are a significant number of short trad lines (stakes are in place above) - this venue will be included in the definitive Lancashire Guidebook. PontiusPirate - 23/Sep/14 |

The small gate is on the right, not the left! John H Bull - 20/Sep/14 |

The Curry House building is now a day nursery. Park a hundred or so yards nearer Rochdale opposite the Pub O'wd Betts. SnJsDad - 05/Mar/14 |
