There are some great problems, especially for beginners like me - I can't guarantee how good it is for the seasoned climber, but there's a few I intend on going back to work on. I've only ever been during the day, you do get some chavs around the evening!

The landowner - the National Trust - have asked that no climbing takes place on the boulders below the Viking graves which form an ancient monument here. In particular the problem "Stardust" is not to be climbed on as it tops out directly into the graves. The Trust are happy for the other bouldering around Crag in the Woods to continue.

I went down by myself after work, recently. There are some nice bits of rock around, with lots of low-grade problems. The Crag in the Woods is now quite overgrown, whilst the Boogaloo Shrimp Area has a lot of broken glass around. (Someone had a smashing time here...) Pleasant couple of hours, with lovely sunset. Not in a massive rush to go back, though.

Perfectly fine location for a few hours of playing. All spread over sea crags, boulders in fields and boulders in the woods. The area is very popular with dog walkers so beware. Also a fair bit of broken glass in the wooded section. However, pleasant enough.

Unlike some people don't see the problem with the climbs hear many need a good clean up but as for chavs think some ppl need to grow a pair if ya get my drift
