Crag features
Glacier approach from the north with steep rock faces particularly to the south and west. The peak can be used as an acclimatisation peak and viewpoint for the famous Biancograt of Piz Bernina to the south.

Access notes
Normal approach is via the Boval (to the NE) or Tschierva huts (to the W) but the summit can be done in a long day from the road heads for each of these huts.
