It's not all about the cave © JuneBob
A truly spectacular crag. There are several walls, but the most eye-catching is without a doubt Hanshelleren.
Hanshelleren is a really big cave, 50m high and overhangs more than 80 meters. There is great potential for more routes, but they will be very hard.
Outside the cave there are over 100 other excellent sport routes, as well as significant trad opportunities.
On top of the first hill, there's a sign saying hanshalleren pointing right. Follow that if you're heading to the footwork wall. If heading to the lower hans section, continue straight.
Note that there is a climbing ban at Kvernhusskaret at the moment (July 2016) due to nesting Eurasian eagle owls. Please check with the locals on the current status before climbing there.
