Knipe Scar (Gate Cote Scar)

Crag features

This was formerly know as Gate Cote Scar but is more correctly called Knipe Scar, which includes the west crag as well.

Above the B6160 grassington to kettlewell road. East facing, dries extremely quickly. A few bolted routes, and around 50 trad lines. Quite sheltered on a windy day.

Approach notes

Approaching from Kilnsey there is parking for two cars by a gate near a big tree. Walk up to the crag line and cross the fence at a stile like feature.
