Crag features
This is one of the largest areas in Fontainebleau, close to the pretty village of Barbizon. It consists of Gorges d'Apremont (13 circuits), Désert d'Apremont (6 circuits), Envers d'Apremont (3 circuits) and Apremont Bizons (2 circuits).

Yellow circuit at Gorges d'Apremont is particularly overgrown and manky at present (2009) and probably best avoided.

Access notes
The road leading south/east from Bas Bréau crossroads is blocked off (2009) which makes for longer walk-in's to some areas. There is plenty of parking available at Bas Bréau though.
