Crag is 25m in height with a vegetated gully on your left as you face into crag.Lower face is predominately slabby on its right hand side. The crag is interspursed with grooves and short walls. Gear is good and crag is relatively clean and solid;however there are a few hollow blocks here and there.Descend by walking up slightly turning left and return to bottom of crag by descending on scree and boulders.
Park at road head (732663)and walk to end of dam then use an old quarry track turning right before Cedryn to reach the farthest dwelling in the cwm;Cwm eigiau cottage. Walk on to a stile and ascend steeply on grass then traverse right over brocken ground.

The obvious lines on this crag were climbed in the 1960s by various Rugby Mountaineering Club members, there are some accounts in old Cwm Eigiau cottage logbooks. Most routes have been repeated over the years by RMC members. Hat Dude - 12/Jul/11 |
