The crag at Fataga from the road © Wayne.Gaudin
This is a basalt "Baranco" just south of a dam. The routes vary from easy slabs to an 8b+ overhang. The rock is excellent quality as are most of the routes. You can climb here all year around. In the summer it is best climbed in the afternoon when the crag will be in the shade.
The guide book does not provide information about each climb apart from the grade. Some have no name, hence there are a few called Sin Nombre, which means, without name, in Spanish.
Take the GC-60/GC-520 and follow it for about 14km. About 1km before Fataga you will see the dam on your left hand side. You have to walk over the top of the dam and descend the steps on the far side.
Also can along a good track. After 11Km (and camel parks) take Left turn GC-602 downhill towards Presa Ayagaures Right at the bridge and follow track to white buildings on R (about 1km from road)
