Access notes
From Las Palmas, take the GC-2 towards Gáldar. Leave at the San Andrés exit and turn right just before Silva bridge, on the GC-291. Follow the dirt road on the right-hand side round the mountain until you get under the bridge.
Walk to the bottom of the canyon, starting on the right-hand side and after 500m, you will find a water channel. Follow this for a few hundred metres and you will get to the first two sectors.

The road layout has now changed completely. There's no right turn as described in the guidebook and the road going around the mountain is closed off completely at the moment (April 2012) because of the building works.
