Middle Eagle Tafraoute, MOROCCO
Climbs 11 – Rocktype Quartzite – Altitude 1731m a.s.l – Faces all
Crag features
This is the large isolated buttress of rock to the west of Lower Eagle Crag and situated eye-catchingly in the centre of the Afantinzar Valley as one drives up the road (on the south side of the road opposite Anammer). Known as Igiliz to the locals, Middle Eagle Crag offers a variety of routes on good rock although nothing outstanding here. A pleasant, easily accessible venue. There are climbs on the east, north and western faces, so climbers can find sunshine or shade as required.
