Gjokeredet

Sotra, NORWAY

Climbs 31 – Rocktype Gneiss – Altitude 30m a.s.l – Faces W

Crag features
Delightfully situated overlooking a lake. This is a steep little (15m) sport crag formed of excellent gneiss about 150m from the road. Grades range from N4+ to N7 with most routes in the N5- to N6 range. The crag is characterised by many good horizontal breaks. Bolting isn't overgenerous and first bolts often high so the cautious might wish to take a few small to medium cams.

Don't be put off by lack of stars - the guidebook is very reserved in this respect.
