Climbs 20 – Rocktype Limestone – Altitude 495m a.s.l – Faces S

Crag features
Small crag next to the winding switchbacks out of Tiefenellern. Probably only worth a visit if you are nearby, the rock is very friable towards the top of most routes, the solid faces lower down degenerate into flaky conglomerate as you get to the top.

Very hot on sunny days, there is no tree cover, although the view is quite spectacular in the evenings.

Access notes
Park on the dirt track on the outside of the second sharp left switchback as you go up the hill out of Tiefenellern. There is space for 3 or 4 cars. You can see the crag slighty uphill and to the right of you.
