Altitude 322m a.s.l
The St Christophe crags can be largely split into two separate areas; the lower sectors grouped around the cascade and the upper ones of which the principal one is the impressive tower-like formation of the Rocher St Julien, next to its eponymous chapel. All these sectors, particularly the upper ones, should be avoided if the mistral is blowing.
From Lafare, follow the road to Gigondas. Note: this road is now closed at a point after the crags. A small parking area on a very tight corner serves the impressive Cascade sector. For the upper sectors continue up the road for about a kilometre untill directly above the Cascade sector - numerous obvious parking possibilities just below the big crag and its chapel. For the Tyrolienne wall, drop down a path from the parking area to the top of the crag. Follow the clifftop to the right until you can descend the left side (looking in) of the crag.
