It is in effect a feature on the Petit. Capucin (3693m granite) and you have the classic D+ route linked to this though it is a route in its own right without continuing to the Petit Capucin summit (as I did in 1976). But there are some modern routes including Petit Capoussin (FA Long Vogler 1989) graded originally ED+, 250m 6c+which I did following Dore Green (28.7.92) where I have noted it was then graded ED-. Perhaps you would like to update the crag accordingly.
It's next door to the Grand Capucin
The map seems to show this somewhere south of Grenoble whereas in fact it's in the top of the Vallée Blanche, next to the Grand Capucin. jon - 24/May/14 |
