An interesting tor which has been partly quarried, with extensive bronze age settlements on the approach.Between this Tor and Great Trowlesworthy Tor is the remenent of an overambitious plan to make a large flagpole stand for Devonport Dockyard. Due to problems with transporting this large mass of pink granite down, it remains at the top of the hill.
