Cacin Almería, SPAIN
Climbs 133 – Rocktype UNKNOWN – Altitude 932m a.s.l – Faces all
Steep hard climbing in a remote gorge. Don't forget your clip stick !
The access diagram in the guide is very misleading. Do not turn into Fondon village but continue on the by-pass and when you see the old bridge on the right take the steep concreted track on the left. Follow the track for some distance (5k) through very arid countryside until you come to the obvious large parking area on the right. Walk through the parking area to the gorge following the dry river bed which takes about 30 mts. There is drinking water available in the gorge at an irrigation duct below sector Tajo de la Mota.
