The Chli Schijen is a chaotic collection of towers in an enchanting woodland setting. There are c.80 climbs ranging from the easiest grades, suitable for children, to the hardest (9a). Popular with families. Rudimentary topo in Plaisir Ost 2015 with 18 routes 2c-6b.
The Gross Schijen has rather c.20 good quality single pitch routes on a south-west facing wall, 5c+ to 7c, mostly 6a-6c. Not covered in Plaisir Ost 2015.
From the col at Ibereregg take a marked path southwards leading to a signpost after 400m or so. Shortly after there is an indistinct path on the right, marked with blue paint, which leads to the Chli Schijen.
The Gross Schijen is reached by an unmarked path leading south-east from the road, roughly 500m east of the col, just east of a stream.
