Moel Ddu Gwynedd, WALES
Climbs 12 – Rocktype Welsh igneous – Altitude 330m a.s.l – Faces ?
Crag features
A series of small buttresses set high up on the slopes of Moel Ddu. Described in the Climbers Club journal 1957 as follows.
"M J Harris and J. Neil visited these cliffs on 7th March 1954 and scrambled up a line which appears to be the same as Holly Buttress. They found the crags so broken that any line would be very artificial, joining up isolated areas of rock seperated by heather. They considered that neither their route worth recording in detail nor was the crag worthy of further exploration."
