Agree with comments above re parking being marshy! Wish i'd read this first... Also, description for Oriole in N Wales Rock guide is mis-leading. Don't move left a metre below the overlap. Go straight up past the peg...much easier, and much better protected.

Parking on right after gate can be marshy - I nearly got stuck, watch out! The abseil had new rope on my visit of April 2011. BTW an idyllic spot, worth going out of your way for...
