Moiazza Dolomites, ITALY
Climbs 200 – Rocktype Limestone – Altitude 1919m a.s.l – Faces W
Crag features
Popular, south-facing rock routes up to around 400m. The popular climbs tend to have peg belays in place, but taking a hammer & peg can be a good idea on the less trafficked routes.
Route recommendation:
Via Decima. up to V+. Superb route following black water streak on very good rock. Considered by many to be one of the finest routes in the Dolomites.

Access notes
From Agordo head towards Passo Duran. Right on the pass there is a bunk house & the path heading towards Rifugio Carestiato.
Bunk house at pass is run by Soro Dorotei, who has extensive Himalayan experience and has opened several classic routes at Moiazza. Alternative accommodation is at Rifugio Carestiato, 40 mins from road and ideally placed at the base of main face.
