Rocktype Ice
Altitude 1851m a.s.l
Several large icefalls of varying difficulty from slabs to pillars, located just west of the old quarry on the south shore of the Lac du Chevril. Split by an upper and lower tier. The upper tier generally providing longer routes.
Follow the footpath from Le Lavachet via the Cascade de Salin. Snowshoes or skis may be required. Alternative access from Val d'Isère La Daille is also possible via the Gorges de la Daille footpath but is much more difficult and potentially dangerous.
