Crag features

Lovely crag on the old road (which bypasses the middle tunnel to the village of Fjordgård). There's a Facebook page with topos and how to donate to the bolt fund if you want. At the crag there are topos and info available too. Parking and (wild) camping is next to the crag, and the nearest (free) public toilets are a few kms away in Fjordgård. Most routes have easier second pitches.

From the Facebook page:
"Ørnfjord Climbing Crag is located some km southwest of the town Fjordgård on Senja island (Norway). Here you find fully bolted sport climbing routes, but also trad routes for protecting by your own gear. First pitch is 30 meter for top-roping with 60 meter rope. The wall is two pitches with a total hight at 80 meter. Nice bonfire rest place with sitting group benches under the wall! Enjoy the climbing, show respect for the place, and leave it like nice and tidy for next climbers to arrive. Report any damage or need for maintenance to Bent Vidar Eilertsen (administrator of this group), or phone +47 91315323 / mail bentvidar@gmail.com"

Approach notes

Turn off the main road (Fv 862), following signs to Fjordgård. You will go through a tunnel, where you turn left after exiting. Just before the next tunnel, turn right to follow the old road (look for the sign). Just under 1km down this track you will find the climbing crag.
