Altitude 100m a.s.l
A small, pleasantly-situated outcrop of good rough limestone. It is very sheltered and gets afternoon sun.
Park considerately as for Rhyd y Foel (either in the village or by the open area at the north end). Walk to the south end of the village where a signposted footpath leaves the road. Cross the stile here, as for Rhyd y Foel, but turn immediately right on to a much less prominent footpath (right of way marked on OS maps). The path rises a little then descends gently towards a more open area. Before the open area (about 100 m from the road) a faint track zig-zags up the steep bank above. Take this and bear right to the clearing below the crag.
