Climbs 2
Rocktype Mica schist
Altitude 242m a.s.l
Spectacular and steep wall hidden in the Orkla valley just east of Berkåk. So far only one rock route (mixed, bolts & trad) is known to exist here, so the crag has plenty of potential.
May also make for an interesting bouldering/ dry-tool venue, subject to whoever can be bothered to develop it further.
An ice route of relative insignificance is also present here, quite esoteric and only for the specially interested.
The rock is a green phyllite which is quite friable but has an interestig texture with lots of small depressions, crimps and some cracks.
In winter parking is tricky and approach is best by skis. In summer parking can be found at Grøtan or at the fishing parking for Nersætra / Skuggvika.
