THIS CRAG HAS PRIVATE ACCESS via the Baile Beag Air BnB property.
A series of small clean slabs of Mudstone extends east from the end of the garden of Baile Beag providing lovely climbing in the mid-grades.
The ledges at the bottom of the climbs are tidal but only get wet for a couple of hours either side of high tide.
Some of the holds are a bit friable but it is surprisingly solid for mudstone!
Approach notes
PRIVATE ACCESS
Walk to the bottom of the Baile Beag garden to access the shoreline. Baile Beag slab is 50m to the East and has a tidal fin of rock three meters offshore.
Restricted Access
This crag is accessed via the garden of the Air BnB property "Baile Beag". Obviously, this is not open to the general public. However, it makes for some great fun if you are staying at this property. You can be climbing within 2 minutes from the back door!
