Crag features

These are deepwater soloing crags with 3 climbs on the western side and 1 climb on the far eastern side of the little in-cove. The western side climbs include 2 traverses to top outs and 1 climb following the arete. Both traverses start at the same position, however the easy traverse tops out earlier, whilst the more difficult traverse goes into the arete climb as the top out. Crag features include lovely pockets with nice flakes on the traverse, whilst the arete is overhanging climbing which consists of crimps and sidepulls. Top of the arete is around 5 metres above sea level whilst the traverse lies beneath a metre above the sea. Good fall zones in excess of 10 metres sea depth so no chance of hitting the bottom if falling.

The climb on the eastern side is a slight traverse in on conglomerate which can be slightly crumbly so beware, but you traverse into nice solid limestone, similar hold styles as on the other climbs with a top out at around 7/8 metres. Fall zone again good with depths in excess of 12 metres deep.

Depending on certain factors, this area can be succeptible to swarms of fried egg jellyfish, however don't often sting too badly.

P.S. I have photographs of routes at these crags and if approved can add as well as other more information regarding each particular route, such as start and endings etc...

Approach notes

Situated at the end of the La Azohia peninsula. You go to the Restaurante Antipodas and follow the P. Maritimo road to the end, then follow the coastal path until you reach the end of the peninsula. The traverses begin down to the right and then follow the traverse round left. Where the arete climb is, there is a rope which you climb down on the begin the climb. The area is good for cliff jumping and fishing so look out for activity as this is a good indicator of where the climbs are.
