A pair of buttresses high on the Braich ty Du flank of Pen yr Ole Wen
Approach notes
The quickest aproach is to go up the hillside via Grugog Gully, escaping up its far left branch where it narrows and bypassing the next line of crags to their left (1h 45?). Slower but probably less laborious is to go via the north ridge (as for Carreg Fran) then continue up and along the edge of the plateau until it is possible to drop down to the top of the crag (2h 30?)
