Routes up to 25m. Good evening crag. Best routes - Beacon Rib(E1), Beacon Crack(HS), Flarepath Direct(E1), Flarepath(VS), Rainbow(HVS).
By car: Park in Grasmere and walk along Easedale Road and up to crag (30 mins). The car park described in the guide book is no longer there.

Easiest access to crag is follow Helm Crag path up hillside a few yards until you get to a big cairn where you fork off left.
Great routes but gear is well spaced so expect to be sand bagged!|

As said above - a good evening crag. Quite slatey in its lower reaches but lovely, rough rock from mid-hieght upwards. Beautiful outlook, peaceful and a few cracking routes; worth a visit.
