Part of Fiordland National Park. Mainly diorite with some areas of granite. Map location shows Homer Hut.

Note: The grades in the logbook are Scottish grades (for winter climbs). The Darrans grade is given in the climb description.

This is the major alpine rock climbing destination of the South Island. A new guide has recently been published by the NZAC. It details sport crags to rarely visited huge walls in deepest dampest fiordland. The main climbing season begins in February.
