Probably the most photographed peak in NZ, but rarely ascended.

Approach by kayak from Milford Sound then bash steeply up via Sinbad Gully. The route is described as steep, vegetated and very exposed. The NZAC guide has a few further details.

Guidebook notes conditions can be rough on the Sound later in the day.
