Crag features
Routes are 30 - 40m long, all Extreme. Quarry is a big hole in the ground and can be damp due to condensation when you least expect it. Classics include Night of the Hot Pies(E1), Darklands(E3), Basilica(E5), An Alabuse(E2).
Quarry is a deepish pit in the forest, part of the Little Langdale Quarries. So-called Cathedral Quarry for the underground slate working linked to the pit quarry. This is also known as Cathedral Cavern, and is quite well known. Another underground chamber sits in an access tunnel to the quarry.

Parking close to the ford in Little Langdale - approach from the S side as the ford is not passable by normal cars!
