Camels Hump Melbourne area, AUSTRALIA
Climbs 153 – Rocktype Trachyte – Altitude 946m a.s.l – Faces SW
A great place to escape the summer heat. Easier trad climbs and harder sport climbs, with generally good quality bolts. Popular among Melbournians.
Drive through Mount Macedon village and follow signs for the summit cross. The car park is on the right shortly after turning off the main road. Follow the path on the west side of the car park marked "Emergency Track" for about five minutes to reach the crag. See http://www.chockstone.org/CamelsHump/CamelsHump.htm for details.
