Rocktype Killas slate
Altitude 10m a.s.l
Start of The Guilty Snowflake © Brian H
There is some granite too (in the roof of the cavern) besides the killas slate. Routes up to 70ft, with a little gem in The Guilty Snowflake (E1 5b) up a sustained finger-crack.
Beware swell, though non-tidal.
Approach from Porthmeor Cove by taking the right-of-way from the B3306 (SW 432 370) down the S side of the valley below Porthmeor Farm. Follow the coast path N for 0.25mi to a sharp R bend by a 50ft killas pinnacle. Follow a path seaward to the edge of the zawn. Abseil descent.
