Crag features

The Carreg-y-Barcud Area includes some of the best routes in Pembrokeshire, the highlights of which include the fabulous steep slabs of Carreg-y-Barcud and the recently developed Barrel Zawn DWS routes.

Approach notes

Approach from Caer Bwdy car park in 15-20 mins.

With care, it is possible to approach from the far side of the east end via either of the two sets of stepped ledges leading down to the bottom of the Just Fits area. Short bits of VDiff-ish down climbing.

There appears to be no stake anymore at the top of beeline? Wanted to do today but without stake protecting the top would be quite difficult, not much natural pro. Don't know who replaces these stakes but can I put a request in for here!

I would hardly say it looks like limestone! Think North Devon and the Culm Coast for a more accurate description.
