Climbs 35 – Rocktype Limestone – Altitude 312m a.s.l – Faces all

Crag features
lovely climbing area located between Untxillaitx and Aitxtxiki mountains, there is also some long mountain routes on Alluitx mountain, high cuality limestone where you could find all kind of climbing features, from blank steep walls, averhanging walls to chimneys and dihedrals, you cand find sport routes to trad ones, some of the equipment is old in some of the less climb routes, but reequipment is going on. All this area is a part of the Urkiola natural park, but some quarries made their mark in this beautiful area.

Access notes
From Bilbao you take the A-8 motorway to Durango, from here you take the N-634 till Matiena where we take the road to Elorrio, when we arrive to abadino whe turn left to mendiola where we soon see Atxarte, abot 6Km from Durango.
