Small roadside quarry with a couple of short but suprisingly technical slab climbs on quarried granite, something distinctly lacking in the NE! The routes are all solos above a murky pool, so bring your armbands. The rock quality is variable so take care.
** THE ROUTES **
The routes are described RIGHT to LEFT. An abseil off the big tree reaches an obvious ledge just above the water line, with a good finger-edge about 3m above. This is the start of Tainted and Bork Power Goose. For the other lines, foot traverse the break leftwards, cleaning pine needles as you go.
Park in a layby on the long straight, immediately west of the Inver Hotel, the quarry is obvious, just by the road behind a ruined building. The routes are on the south-facing slab on the opposite side of the quarry. A handy tree gives easy abseil access.
