Reisenstein Heidelberg, GERMANY
Climbs 2 – Rocktype Sandstone (hard) – Altitude 247m a.s.l – Faces all
Crag features
Small quarry, mainly for bouldering, famous for ascents by Reinhardt Karl and Pascal Schawrtz's "Mensch und der Maschina" font 8B/8B+.
Not covered properly by any guidebook, there are a couple of spare online resources here:
http://escalade-alsace.ifrance.com/ailleurs/riesenstein.html and here:
http://www.bergsucht.de/klettern/boulder/riesenstein/index.htm
Many many eliminates, and some classic hard problems. Good climbing conditions all year round, some spots remain dry in the rain, but these sections are tiny.
