An incredibly minor outcrop (9m high) sporting a couple of esoteric desperates, Heaven Can Wait (E5 6b) and Chocolate Swastika (E5 6c).
Unfortunately, due to the tree cover and a lack of traffic because of the access situation, the routes are lichenous and green. A shame really. [David SImmonite]
From Rivelin Edge, head west along the A57 until a cafe is passed on the right (The Cabin). Park near here, then walk back down the road for about 100m. The buttress is in the trees on the left.
Roadside and near a cafe but THE OWNER HAS MADE IT QUITE CLEAR THAT HE DOES NOT WISH PEOPLE TO CLIMB HERE. However if you must visit keep a very low profile. [David Simmonite]
