Crag features
A nicely weathered 8m high tor and a fairly insignificant quarry in the moorland above Surprise View. Good but limited 'extended bouldering' on the tor where the best route is Conan the Librarian (E3 6b). The quarry's claim to fame is one of the smallest E5s on grit, Just Done IT! (E5 6c), 6m long.

Access notes
Park or alight at Surprise View car park, between the Fox House Inn and Hathersage on the A625 at SK 253801 and head uphill. The quarry is passed as the path levels out, Mother Cap is not far behind (10 min).
