The man made sandstone block viaduct walls. Very extensive with aspects to the northwest and southeast. Lots of vertical and off vertical bouldering potential. Lots of traversing. The viaduct on the southern side of the ship canal has potential, with a bolted route in evidence (grade unknown).
From the Moore/Mersey bridleway north of the ship canal, take an opening in the fence and walk along the base of the railway embankment. Probably private, although locals walk their dogs here and people fish, but discretion may be wise.
Be discrete.
