A number of small crags scattered around the flanks of the Munro peak offer interesting if not great climbing on mainly short routes. Spearhead Ridge offers the best climbing with variations possible on fissured rock. Spearhead Arête (D) is a classic arete on good rock in a fine situation.
From the Loch Long head carpark, take the Cobbler path past Succoth until it meets the horizontal path and then turn right. Go past a dam and up into the corrie in about 1.5 hours.
Alternatively, and more interesting, ascend to the col between The Cobbler and Beinn Narnain. Head up and over the top of Beinn Narnain, giving you a good view of Spearhead Ridge just after the summit. Descend a loose gully just beyond the ridge & bear right for the crag.
