50m, 3 pitches. A gully runs to the left of and just below the small hanging valley, some distance to the right of Birkett's Gully and just left of Central Chain. Although indistinct from a distance, it provides a narrow gully of approx 50m. After this, easy climbing leads, at length, to the summit or a traverse right can be made to the hanging valley and Racecourse Gully.

This ascent was made on 18th Jan in very cold conditions.

A party was ahead of us but, as the climb is unrecorded, we are making a note for reference by future climbers.

Unknown 01/Jan/1900.
