The owner of Bursting Stone Quarry has indicated that work is starting here again in 2024. Although the current access situation is being discussed, it is currently unresolved. Equipment was moved into the quarry in late-2023 with work due to start in 2024.
Therefore unfortunately there is NO ACCESS currently to this quarry for climbing.

Start 5m right of Bloodstone , at an obvious groove line identifiable by a 10cm length of fuse wire held tight by the rock at head height. Climb the initial groove to a broken ledge on the left. Step right into the main V groove and up to a ledge on the left. Continue up the rib and slab to lower offs (avoiding the loose final part of the groove).
