Climbs 10
Rocktype Granite
Altitude 2458m a.s.l
Faces all
A mountain with two enormous faces rising from the plain to the summit. Plenty of scope for more routes.
The South-East Face is 600m high just in front of the Chambe Hut. There are several multi-pitch traditional routes first climbed in the 1970s. Compact rock with adequate protection in large cracks and chimneys, and sparse protection elsewhere, possibly involving grass tufts and small trees.
The West Face is even larger with some routes well over 1000m high.
Access from Chambe hut, 3 hours from the Likhabula forestry office.
