Steep tidal climbing climbing or DWS. Nesting birds are normally not an issue and neither is seeping, although a northerly wind is best.
Routes are mostly spread on the East and West sbuttresses, both separated by a dry inlet, which makes for an easy descent.
Turn off the A92 towards East Cammachmore (before Newtonhill driving south). Park at the layby on the left by the fork (57.039016, -2.145003).
Walk from here past houses and a ruin then join the fields to reach the back of the Dry Inlet that devides the East and West buttresses (57.033911, -2.134678).
Access by downclimb or 20-30m abseil.
There's a gull nest with 3 eggs at base of Greedy Pig. Routes to Left are not affected. 28 May 2023 ross - 28/May/23 |
