Rockfax Description
A very tough culm testpiece that wends its way up the exposed edge of the architecturally stunning seaward fin of the main cliff. The cliff is constantly on the move and has recently suffered yet another rockfall to the landward side of the route. Start just to the left of the toe of the fin.Climb 8m to a peg at the start of a thin left-slanting crack and take it to a ledge on the arete. Pull left into a crack on the face - pegs - and follow the crack until it is possible to move back right onto the arete. Follow the arete to a peg on the left. Move up and out left onto the wall before tricky climbing leads back right in an exposed position to reach a peg high up near the arete, follow the arete to finish. The final section of the line is often dirty and a better finish is to step back down after clipping the final peg and follow a thin, sustained crack leftwards to meet up with the final section of Walk of Life. © Rockfax
