βeta: I think both these, Moonlight and Snowline, are highly variable. They can be very thin indeed, in which case, whilst not so steep (i.e. not vertical)- very difficult to protect and I think the pictures show that. They got so thin when we did them that at points you couldn't really swing for placements- just tap. I was lucky enough to second someone who is infinitely better than me. Whilst I've led a few WI 4's and one WI 5 I would never have been able to lead this in the condition we found it. Really grateful to have done this though. | βeta? | |
