Rockfax Description
A tough outing that was described as a free ascent of Live Aid. It is likely that the team were confused by the layout of the wall.
1) N8-, 40m. Start right of For Cod's Sake and climb the flake-line to reach the base of a steep groove. Climb this, then move left to the stance on Live Aid.
2) N8-, 45m. Traverse leftwards on slightly alarming flakes to a corner. After a few moves up the corner make an exposed move right and up to right-slanting cracks which lead to easier ground. © Rockfax

85m . A tough outing that was touted as a free ascent of Live
Aid. It is likely that the first ascensionists were confused by the
geography of the wall.

1) 8-, 40m . Start right of For Cod's Sake and climb the flakeline
to reach the base of a steep groove. Climb this then move left to
the stance on Live Aid.

2) 8-, 45m . Traverse leftwards on slightly alarming flakes to a
corner. After a few moves up the corner make an exposed move
right and up to gain rightward slanting cracks. Follow cracks to
easier ground.
