A remote crag in the Cheviot Hills. The majority of routes are in the easier grades, VS and below.
Two good new routes, an HVS and an E3, have been added this year
Best approached by mountain bike. Turn off the A697 at Akeld and head for Hethpool. park there and bike up the valley to the crag.
Beautiful setting. A lot of lichen on the routes in August 2020. sukcs - 10/Aug/20 |

Walked to crag with intention to climb however Peregrine falcones visibly nesting on crags so decided to head back to car. Wouldn't recommend a visit until after the breading season. markisauer - 24/Apr/10 |

Four peregrines (parents & two chicks?) seen last weekend, one seen this weekend. Nest well and truly empty. MadProfessor - 08/Sep/07 |

Two Peregrine Falcons must be rearing chicks there still (June 17th) and were aggressive towards climbers approaching the upper crag area. Charlie Fisher - 18/Jun/05 |
