Follow the marked path from the hut, first NE then E over rocky ground to the base of the NW ridge, the first section is steep and is in places protected with a cable, then on easier ground until joining the W ridge which is followed to the summit.
Note - in early season snow may be encountered but in later season the route is all rock. Due to the retreat of the glaciers other routes on the mountain are not in good condition, the direct route to the Angeluscharte is no longer possible.
